Psychotherapy and Counselling in Stockbridge
Hello and welcome. Perhaps you’re visiting this page because you are hoping to find someone to talk to about how the challenges of life are preventing you finding joy or energy. It can be daunting to approach a therapist and you may have many questions about the process. I work with clients suffering with anxiety, depression, lack of energy, emotional changes due to the menopause, low moods, and my experience is that it can be liberating, empowering and very relieving to talk to someone who is able to listen effectively.
I offer a non-judgemental, safe and confidential place to talk enabling you to work with me in a way that offers possibilities of long-term change. Dedicating some time to talking through your current experience of life can help to release the tensions of heavy emotions.
I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel a connection with the therapist. I therefore believe it is important to meet first before deciding to work together.
We can talk about your reasons for coming and what you feel you’d like to gain from the process. We will discuss how we can work usefully together and I can answer any questions you may have.
Training
I qualified as a Psychotherapist by completing a 6 year Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy. This means I draw on many approaches and disciplines to help understand patterns of relating and how our past can often shape the way we relate and think in the present. I believe my breadth of training enables me to work with you in the most useful way.
Fees
I charge £60 per 50 minute session.
UKCP Membership
I am UKCP registered giving me membership to the leading organisation in education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists in the UK.
